Trin,
I guess we ought to do a couple of training runs/races together sometime before the race itself. Draycote35 would seem a sensible choice for a long 'un. Any ideas for a couple of others in midlands somewhere...halfway for thee and me?
erm Steve... just so you don't go to the wrong start place, it's actually L2B

When's Draycote?

In your first post you said Draycote was in MARCH 2009 Trin.

How long is the Dartmoor effort?

I thought I'd do B2L on the day before and then do the L2B............

A 35m in Feb and a 32m in June sounds good to me. Entered either yet/When are entries open any idea?

Do you expect to do any longer races than that pre L2B?

I know what you mean but next year's ultras are all build up races for the ultimate goal of Comrades 2010... but don't worry, I'm not going to enter in on impulse

It says a marathon qualifying time in the 18 months prior to the event.

hmm... ok, I guess... it is a tough course

You could try emailing Phil Hamilton (the organiser) and tell him your results since London, and that you have the Draycote race planned. That mountainous race was pretty tough, and you didn't exactly race it for yourself did you...

It's just that it might be tight to fit in a marathon and the training for it, especially as the marathon season is a bit quiet over the winter months

Hoping that Bungay and Draycote don't clash so I can do both
