No official results but my watch said 39'30" when I crossed the 10k line last night...a massive 2mins 45secs inside my pb on the same course last year....find it hard to believe...hence I'm desparate to see official time.

Great run Steve, it looked on from your 5 mile times recently but it's nice to go out there and do it. Sub 40 is a great milestone to beat!

Same here,
I have not run competitively since 1995 London marathon.
2 years ago I started running but had plantar fatius.
So now this last month, I am back...........joined a local club ,within a week ran a 10k.
So I will take everthing i do now as a P.B. cos i don`t think I will beat my Marathon record of 3.09.30 again...........

We have three things in common - at least.
(A) I ran London in 1995 too - and got my PB of 2.53.04.
(B) I've currently got Plantar Fascitis.
(C) At 76 I don't think I'll ever beat that marathon PB!
