£40 entry fee? You must be joking

For a tenth of that (£4) you can enter the proper Pen Y Fan fell race on July 17th and if you're fast enough to break the record you'll win an additional £500! (Record is 30.00 exactly)
and you could even make it a Brecon Fans weekend by running the Fan Y Big (£5) the next day
or £8 for both races - details
Brecon Fans Race Weekend

and a video of the course here

didn,t know you had to be a "REAL" runner to use this forum i have run off and on for 20years and competed a few marathons but know i am not at the same level as most fell runners, but still love running/jogging in the mountains ,which is the reason i am paying 40quid to compete in the fandance
How do you class a real runner?

Do I take it then you enjoyed it so much you'll be doing the 'proper' race on July 17?
