I did a 10k Race with the Nike+ and it said I had done over 12k.
Which must have meant the 10k training runs I had been doing were only 8K.

Plus the online website doesn't really present much info.

Well thank you all. I now know what I am going to ask for my birthday next month It sounds really cool, as I'm not one for writing down distances and times etc. So let me get this straight. With this device, can you simply set it to start, go on your run, then stop it and it will then give you a breakdown of distance, time, pace, elevations etc? Can it work as simply as that? If so, it is definitely the product for me. I don't want a product that needs to be pre-programmed or anything.

It does all that and more JB.

as Dave says it can be as simple as that, or it can be even more in depth if you like. One feature I love (but haven't used yet) is to go for a run, then store it as a course on your Garmin and then race against yourself the following day (indicated by little stick man on the screen and a figure of how far ahead/behind you are)

Truely is awesome in my opinion
