Cheap and Accurate

Does anyone know of any watches/HRM that are relatively cheap and pretty reliable?

Asking a lot I know!!

My ex had a polar one... google them, I don't think it was THAT expensive, maybe 50/60 quid... or is that too expensive still? Anyhoo, I've used it and it's pretty good, does basically what you'd want an HRM to do...

LLoyds pharmacy do/did a basic one for £9.99... absolute bargain! That's what my first HRM was and it did it's job

I use a polar one, cost me around £70 if memory serves me correctly. They do cheaper ones, but it depends on what functionality you require.

To be honest, I dont use mine for anything other than time, peak, average... which I then record in an Excel spreadsheet diary, so all the additional functions I thought I wanted, I dont actually use, so I would have had been quite happy with the cheaper models.....
