The Motoactv battery - anyone else had this?

In March, I bought a Motoactv because the Garmin 205 watch strap was far too big and kept slipping.

The battery on the Motoactv is awful. It was charged the week before last and after Thursday's run, the battery was around half full. I've just tried turning the watch on and the battery has died. It keeps doing this.

My garmin lasted much longer than a few hours. Even when it's charged, it doesn't last that long at all.

Sounds like it used some battery when it is off, perhaps to hold the memory. My Garmin loses charge if I leave it a week or so.

Just make sure you sit it on the charger the night before a run and it should be good. Remember the Garmin is not acting as an MP3 player as well.

go into the settings and in battery saver change it to marathon - this will extend life my about 30%
they might give in to demands to add in a manual setting
currently it records data every second, mara it does every 3, manual we want 10 or 30
