Polar M32 Problem

My M32 heart rate monitor seems to be on it's way out. A couple of months ago the screen started to fade and it seemed to keep losing it's signal whilst training. The obvious solution was the battery, however, after getting it changed the display came back as strong as ever but it still keeps losing the signal whilst training. I have also changed the battery in the chest belt but that made no difference - and have even tried using a friends chest belt just incase it's that - but no joy, do it's definitely something wrong with the watch.

Any ideas?
