Forerunner 405 on offer at Sports Direct
I was just browsing the accessories section for an armband for my phone, when I spotted this:
http://www.sportsdirect.com/garmin-f...ith-hrm-756093
£160 with the HRM, I'm sure someone here would be interested. Shame it wasn't this price before Christmas, I'd have bought one lol

I can only comment on the 205 but I've had no problems with the GPS; just switch on, put by the window while I get my shoes on and it's fine.
GPS works best with a clear view of the sky, so you should have no problems in the countryside.

Wow what a good price, the 405 looks much smaller. I am happy with my 205 for now but in future would like HRM to see how doing HR wise but can't justify a 205 now i have a 205 lol. Good offer though for anyone looking.
Abo i got an armband from amazon arrived yesterday.

Yeah, I'm going to get a proper iPhone-sized armband when I get chance. I popped into JJB and bought a generic one earlier, it just about fits properly. It's mainly just something to carry my phone at the moment, as it doesn't fit into the little pocket in my tracksters, but I couldn't order one online as I need it for tomorrow for my Parkrun

That's strange, Sports Direct are usually quite accurate with their stock indicator, obviously not in this case, are they getting more in stock?

I have to disagree Warren! Of all the online retailers I use, Sports Direct are notoriously atrocious. I've used them 4 times, and not had one order that was fully completed.
They never chase new stock up to fulfill your order. They just cancel your order.

The e-mail the wife received was very blunt, sorry we no longer have stock so have cancelled you order. No mentioned or holding onto the order or chasing their stockist.
Oh well, maybe a 305 will have to do

Oh yes, I agree with you, the majority are terrible, but I have ordered from Sports Direct and in my experience they have been good
