Just seen this blog about 10 running coaches who have made a difference - had only heard of a few of them - my ignorance, or is that coaches don't always get the headlines they deserve???

I've heard of Gandy, Bowerman and Lydiard, and the name Galloway rings a bell... but I wouldn't call any of them household names Thought I may have seen Frank Horwill on there, I've read a fair bit of his stuff and really like his approach.

I've often thought that it's a "percentage-thing" with coaches; meaning that not every athlete in their charge will reach their full potential whilst following the regime of that particular coach.
