I am currently doing 4 miles runs on week days with the weekend off to recover, but was wondering if doing 3 mile runs everyday would be better. My main goals would be to get fitter and lose a few pounds. would this be better or should i be doing something completely different. Thanks.

Hi 2000

That's actually a pretty good regime for fitness and a bit of weight loss. You are probably better off as you are, with the 2 rest days in my opinion.

If you want to do more, you could make some of your runs longer, or if you want to enter a race or something, you could make one a speed session.
