I wonder if anyone has some insight for me please!

I have been running on and off for about 10 years but an 'off' period could be years! 🤣

Anyway, I've started to start to try and take it seriously and train sensibly with an aim of a 1hr 10k.

I've been doing 4km runs recently in around 26 minutes, 6km in 39minutes, and yesterday I did a 9k in 64minutes.

Anyway, I've been trying to take note of my heart rate recently and yesterday I spent 83% of my run in Zone 5. When I tried to bring it down just to zone 4, I was almost walking.

Is it safe to spend so long in Zone 5?
