Anything the father in law brings. He has been a restaurant owner for 30 or more years. Usually an Amarone or Borollo. Im a big fan of a Barbaresco. Always Italian.

I've only have had one bottle of wine I liked that didn't burn my throat, I seem to remember it was white and about £60 a pop.

Wine seems to give me horrible headaches

I rarely drink wine. We are more into our real ales.

If I do drink wine, it would generally be a dry white such as a South African Columbard.

I once bought a nice bottle of white from a winery when I was in Bulgaria, which was lovely but as far as I am aware, not available in the UK. Can't remember the name now anyway.
