just thought i say hello as a am a complete newbie:)

got myself new shoes from a running shop and went for a run the other day. had it in mind to run 3 mins and walk 2 min just to get myself into it. ended up running 25m before i had to stop and walk>lol but i kept it up and did an another 25m and walked say 25m all the way around the 3 mile track around the rowing lake, at least the sun was out;). mind you i cycled to the track which is about 7 miles ride to warm up. the ride home was fun;) lol

anyway one step at a time. its my goal to one day be able to run about that damn track without stopping:d

p.s good luck to all running in the Robin Hood marathon next week;). i be there next year i hope>lol

HI Seven legs. Welcome to the site! Good going doing any running after that cycle - suppose the spare 5 legs make it easier:d

thanks alot everyone. this forum is very inspirational. will have another crack at the track on wednesday when i am off:) so i see you here on wednesday and let you know, either that or i be in
A&E>lol;)
