Okay, it might not have been exactly nine miles, there are questions as to the accuacy of the Sportsband and to some it probably wasn't quick, but...

.... I didn't stop and I ran all the way up the big hill at mile 8 :d

What a cracking way to start the day. Morning all.

Are you watching me? We are driving back home from Wales and have just discussed stopping for breakfast :cool:

I will accept the distance, but dispute the speed. Define quick. :d

I really enjoy running to start the day off, the only down side it so do that during the week I need to get up at 6am! But it does make the day all the better.

Nice! I was meaning to start my long run at 8am to avoid the heat and crowds. Needless to say, I didn't quite make it; ended up starting at 11ish :(

I'm a mad dog or an Englishman, as I went out in the mid day sun and ran 10 miles :d

Must admit it was after breakfast though.

My legs got a nice mudbath as well, the canal path was like quicksand in places :(
