I have seen this lady running at most of the races I took part in over the summer, and just think she is a real inspiration.

Louise Gilchrist

I finally beat her last week, as well, by about 20 seconds, so can at last say I have beaten a world record holder!

It's always great to see her out running :)

She sounds fab- long may she run! Can't believe she only took it up in her 50s.

Just as an aside- my former primary school headmaster gave up running aged 85, when he started being regularly overtaken by pedestrians.

Met her after the finish of a 10K in Harrogate when I was making my road racing come-back in 2005. Looked as if she'd just stepped out of a Beauty Parlour; didn't look her age at all. Couldn't help giving her a big hug! A wonderful woman. Oh, and we've one thing in common, at least - we've both taken O/60's Gold in the London Marathon TWICE.
Cheers!
