Hi guys,

I've got a bleep test Monday, got to get to 8.8.
I passed it back in February but I've got to do re do it.
Since feb I've had covid, life and family have made my training inconsistent. I've still done cross fit cycle to work etc when I can. I tried the bleep test 3 weeks ago and got 7.6 did a bit of running again and haven't lost a great deal of fitness. I did it last week and got 8.7 on my own so was pretty close. Been on holiday for a week with the family and I've got out 6 out of 7 days and ran 5-6k each day, just got back today itching to give the test one more go and only got 7.6!
I know my legs are cramping and I need a rest but didn't think I'd be that far off the mark.
Any advice for over the weekend, for any last minute efforts?

I’m afraid there isn’t much you can do to improve your fitness now at this later stage other than ensure you rest/sleep well over the weekend.

I wouldn’t be doing any significant work outs, instead just ensure you eat sensibly and hydrate.

Good luck!
