Hi,

I have been really struggling with blisters of late and can't seem to shake them off! They always appear on my right foot, never my left, and on the inside arch when I run say over 4 miles.

I have tried everything...resting until they have all gone, but they come straight back, using methylated spirits to harden the area, new shoes, various blister socks, insoles, but nothing seems to be doing the trick.

I am currently in training for a half marathon and am worried that the blisters are going to hold my training back.

Does anyone have this problem and know of a solution?

As a temporary solution you could try compeed... available at most chemists.

But you need to find out why running is causing you to get blisters recur in that particular area. It could be running style, maybe you haven't found the right socks for you yet, or the shoes...do you get a size up from your normal shoe size for instance?
