Hi all, new to this forum but a quick question for you, i've been running a steady 2 to 3 miles every other day for about 8 weeks gradually getting faster but the last couple of weeks when i've increased the distance the muscle just below the calf on the inside of my leg (sorry don't know the name) is extremely sore and also the achilles, my question is, is a case of just getting used to the extra distance or does anyone have any ideas for soothing after.
The soreness only lasts a day or so and i ca run again but it does cause some discomfort whilst running.
