Is this really possible?

I don't mean speeding along as quickly as you can, but as a method of getting to where I want to run with the dog/getting to the shops etc

I Breed english bull terriers , i have trained all my dogs to trot along side me on my bike , they love it , its a great way to keep them in shape , you just have to be careful about foot sores etc

Yes i did it when i just had 1 dog. You just have to be carefull what your doing.

You cant go very fast suppose that depends on what dog you have though. I wouldnt do it when its warm and i always took water for her to drink.

You can get a gadget like an arm on a spring that sticks out from somewhere around your back axle. You attach the lead to that. This helps your stability as any pulling on the lead doesn't pull you off course so easily. Of course, the dog still has to get used to running that way. They're a common sight in countries with a lot of cycling, like Denmark or Sweden.
