I was going to buy a waistback last year, then I thought about a Camelback. In the end I tried a £2.50 bottle with a handle and was amazed how Quickly I got used to carrying it.

Regardless of weather it is wise to carry a drink if you are running for an hour or more. How you do it is a matter of trial and error but you soon get used to carrying a bottle/pouch.
