Hello im Pete *waves*

started running around april time.. done a few 10k's and a 10mile so far.. training for two half marathons in October.

i also try to squeeze in a couple of games a squash a week on my running "rest" days

Hi Pete and welcome to RF.

What 1/2s are you training for?

atm im booked into the Birmingham, and also planning to do the Kenilworth one aswell

i did a 10mile last week so feel that my training is kinda on track

Bugger me! Someone from my neck of the woods! Welcome to the forum matey! I've plumped for the one in the middle (Godiva Half) over the Birmingham one, though the Kenilworth Half is a great run :)

i was humming and har'ing about wether to do the cov one.. but being a *cough* brummie and working in b'ham it kinda feels more like a home event for me

good luck with the cov one though... ill prob pop along and spectaculate the finish line

Yeah, I can see what you mean... I went to uni in Coventry, so it feels a little closer to home. Also I'll be running for a PB, and the Brum half finishes at a higher point than it starts - so more uphills than downhills ;)
