I started running about a year ago and have stayed fairly committed to it. I use use an online schedule from nikerunning.co.uk and i have found that quite useful if you stick to it. My schedule at the moment is for a half marathon on the 7th of june in southend, anybody else running that?

Hi, welcome to the forum :)

(it's always quiet in here at the weekend by the way)

I'm not doing Southend half either because I'm over near Bristol.
Good luck though!

Welcome to the forum! Good stuff having a schedule to stick to and a target race to aim for. Trin's right, is can be a little quiet over the weekends but feel free to ask as many questions as you like and they'll get answered soon enough :)

Welcome to the forum jammidodgr.

I think I will be running the Southend half. For the first time they are running it on the Seafront.
In past years it has been a rural run.

Thats good, apparently its a flat route aswell. So as long as the weather is good then it should be an enjoyable first HM for me.
