Hello
I have been running now for a few months but progress seems to be slow! Foolishly I have entered the Great North Run which is what has made me get off my bum and start running!
To be honest I am actually enjoying it much more than I thought I would! I have completed two 10k runs so far (my time is slow but my aim was just to complete so I am more than happy).
I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get rid of a stitch? It seems that about 10 mins after I start running I always get a bad stitch in my right side. It is always in the same place and is sometimes so bad that I have to stop and walk for about 20 mins. Generally it goes after about half an hour and than I am fine to continue. If any one has any tips then I am willing to try almost anything!!
Thanks
