My names mike im 21

New to the forum, and after 4 years of not running have decided to take it back up again, and enjoying it so far.

Hope to lose weight and get back to the fitness level I was when I was 16-17.

Like the forum, cool design.

Nike Run 10k this sunday.

Not looking for a great time, just to finsih the race without stopping.

Did a 10k training run 2 weeks ago did it in 55 mins, Hopefully I will be able to get around that time this sunday.

Best of British to you both on Sunday.
Don't go off too quick and take each K as it comes....you'll soon find you are at 5k and then it's all downhill, not literally of course, from there.

PS No mention of dresses...damn!

Thanks Steve and Dave.

Hope your run went well aswell Dave.

(Sorry for slow replies, Havent been able to get on a computer for a while)

I got 53:53 at the Nike run. Not bad for an obese smoker, going to try hard to knock the bad habits on the head and aim to get my time down by 10-15 for the Nike Run next year or any 10k's around that time next year.
