Age 73, running for 50 years. Fitbit measured Resting heart rate 51, running heart rate 160-180, max heart rate 205. Any runners with a similar profile? Max HR does not conform to rule os 220 - age.

Are you using fitbit to measure running heart rate? It is notoriously inaccurate, particularly as bpm increases while moving. Very best measure is by chest band linked to watch.

Not sure what you mean by Max HR does not conform to rule 220 - age?

Age 66 running 50 years. Max heart rate 184 and at that rate I cannot go far have to slow down! It what I reach toward the end of a race.
