Hi everyone: I've been running for ages now in my 20s but have recently got hip pain around the bony part of my hip - it started about 2 months ago but I have been ignoring it because it wasn't too bad. Its now progressively worsening, however it barely hurts when I run - only after but the aching pain doesn't get much better as the days go on after a run so I'm confused on what to do. The hip pain is noticeable when I walk, if i touch it and also when sleeping if I lie on it, which is odd as I don't feel the pain much when running, although it's getting more noticeable as the days go on. Has anyone had anything similar? Any tips? Thanks

Yes I've had similar on and off for 5years😃
Weak glute muscles diagnosed. I found that regular, twice a week kettle bell exercises or deep squats ( loads of examples available on YouTube
and I bought a cheap kettle bell from Decathlon) without weights and 'clamshell' exercises really help, but you have to be regular with it. It's not going away in a week.
