I've been breathing all my life, and at 54 I've got a lot of experience. As a newcomer to running (I prefer to call it jogging), I was wondering how the more experienced runners breathe. Do you consciously breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. Went for a 3mile jog and I was feeling really parched today and saliva got frothy and not wet. Maybe it's my breathing technique. How do you breathe?
