Hi! I need to know in trainin what my milesplits need to be for a 17:50 5k. Like for example, 6 minute miles on 5 mile runs 5 days a week, 7 minute miles on 10 mile runs, etc. Please help me!

Good luck on the time. It is way out of my league.

You might like to introduce yourself a bit and get known. Also many members abuse there employees and it is much busier duriing the day. Evenings and weekends are not the busiest.

of course there's no set answer to what training you should be doing, though obviously you need a include speed and strength work foremost, tempo runs will also help you improve speed endurance.

Bare in mind that a 17:50 5km XC time is much more difficult to achieve than a 17:50 5km Road Race time, and obviously you would expect the training to vary a little too (XC races are going to need more hill work and other strength work).

What does your current training schedule look like?

Usually spam would have a point to it (trying to advertise something?)... this just seems like a new user keen to get some answers... fast! lol. ;)
