Hi, I am an athletics coach, working towards my level 3. I am dedicated to my running and the athletes that I coach.

I am running the London Marathon this year - not quite sure why, but the training is good.

Welcome Coachingbird,
I see you live near Tavistock did you go on Sunday's Brooks run at Burrator?

Welcome on board!

I'm sure your coaching skills will be sought after here...starting with:-

I run an informal training session for my club each Thursday...at the moment it's either hillwork or speed work. I don't have any formal qualifications and just run the session so as to have some kind of structured training once a week. We do not have access to a running track. I have mixed ability group which I try to keep together(ish) for these sessions to create club spirit.

Tomorrow it's a speed session...any fresh ideas I could "borrow"?

I'm doing London too as are quite as few forumites. Check out the marathon thread.
