Hi all,

I am training for my first Half in October. I am following a training plan and I am struggling with pace variations. I have picked all my paces (easy, race, interval) and I have these issues:

  • cannot run my easy pace so slowly as I always do it faster
  • interval pace is basically a stride training as I don’t feel I can keep it for more than 5-10 min without resting

My main problem is I tend to do all my runs at the same pace (about 5.25m x km) and now I feel I am stuck to it.

Do you have any good advice?
