Hi,

I ran 15k yesterday and now have a sore knee.
I think it's because I run slightly pigeon-toed on that leg, thanks to an old ankle injury, so twist the knee as I run.
Any suggestions for things that could help with this?

Also, any ideas on how long I should rest it for before continuing with training, considering that I'm running a half marathon in 2 weeks?

Thanks,
Gillian

Knee & half marathon

If you want advice, the ancle needs sorting out if you have an old i ancle injury the scar tissue needs breaking down, this will be painfull but will be worth it.

I suggest you go and see a recomended sport & remedial therapist or a good sports physio don't struggle on. As for the half marathon in two weeks se how you feel if the knee gets worse and becomes to painfull don't run, if it improves then do but take my advice and get treatment on the ancle
