Hello, my names Mick i'm doing my first marathon in Oct the Loch Ness, i've just found this site and i'm looking for any helpful info that will get me round this course, not had time to enter a profile as yet but will do so in due course.
Hello mick, good luck in loch ness mate,i have'nt run it myself but a friend of mine has & says it's a lovely scenic run. It's undulating throughout & will test you ! The winner for the past 2 years has been Zakary Kihara(Kenya) around 2.22/2.23, i'm led to believe that is 10 mins slower than his best, which suggests it's not a killer but a tester. My mate has done 3.05 in pan flat London, but finished in 3.21 at Loch Ness,so don't go looking for a PB, all the best pal.
