Hey ****, welcome to the site. Believe that's a monster of a run you're planning
(sorry, somebody was going to make the joke so it might as well be me)

Welcome ****.

Not done a marathon myself,so not much advice I can offer.

There will be others who can.

All the best with it.

Keep us informed of your training progress.

Hello ****,good luck in loch ness mate,i have'nt run it myself but a friend of mine has & says it's a lovely scenic run. It's undulating throughout & will test you ! The winner for the past 2 years has been Zakary Kihara(Kenya) around 2.22/2.23, i'm led to believe that is 10 mins slower than his best, which suggests it's not a killer but a tester. My mate has done 3.05 in pan flat London, but finished in 3.21 at Loch Ness,so don't go looking for a PB, all the best pal.
