Why wouldn't you wear lycra shorts on their own - less chafing

I must admit,I think I would feel a bit uneasy in Lycra shorts.........

Better for the females I think.......

I did think about that one TT,but decided to give it a miss.

Just going to concentrate on the Southend half at the moment. After that I`ve got a couple of local 5k X-Country races and the Horndon 10k.

ok.... erm, now let me see if I can phrase this delicately...

well, let me use the example of sports bras to ladeeees... I like a nice supporting one, to stop any 'jiggle'...if you get my meaning (not that there's much to jiggle  )

Surely if you wear normal shorts and no underwear, then you might experience unnecessary 'jiggle'? :embarrassed:

Its not like its elastic tho is it and likely to sag like breasts and don't running shorts have an inner liner - a bit like a pair of knickers??

Well actually SE....a similar topic came up in conversation last weekend, funnily enough, over a lovely meal in a restaurant.

And the 'veg' part of the 'meat and two veg' does actually sag over time...especially if it (or should I say they) have had inadequate support over time
