Just out of interest...
Does anyone know how heat effects race times for the average pale-and-pasty-used-to-UK-gloom-and-rain-type runner? I'm trying to work out how much of my slow 10km on Sunday I can blame on anything but me.
(Before anyone gets upset - I hope this question causes no offence - I am not intending this in any way as a racist or xenophobic question - but I think it is true that peeps acclimatised to different parts of the world will react differently to different temperature ranges - e.g. Craig Mottram last weekend was no doubt very happy - and maybe faster - with the Ozzie-like heat here in London)
