Hi Everyone,

I am currently training for the Coniston14 mile event on 24th March but was today given a last-minute spot in the Malta Half Marathon on 25th Feb.

At the moment, my Coniston 14 training runs have seen me get up to a distance of 18.50km - I'm not a fast runner by any means, it took just over 2 hours for me to complete the 18.50km training run.

But I was wondering if anyone had any last minute tips for my race at the Malta Half Marathon as this will be the furthest I have ever run! Is there anything I can be doing over the next 3 weeks to best prepare me for my first half marathon?

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Just keep doing what you've been doing, but maybe take it a bit easier the week before. A half is only 21.1km; if you can do 18.5km the difference is trivial.
