Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be able to advise me on adapting marathon training plans. I have been training to run my first marathon at Paris on 5th April 2020. However, it has since been postponed and I now plan to run either the Newport or Brighton marathon on the 19th April. I’m relatively new to running, only started a year ago and have only done one half marathon, so I am unsure how to extend a training plan. My original plan saw my running up to 35km before tapering for 3 weeks. Now, with two extra weeks, I’m unsure as to how many more long runs I should do before tapering. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
