I am excited and really nervous about running my first marathon next year. In preparation I am doing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in 11 days. I am very excited that last week i managed a 9 miler! :d I am relatively new to running but have run for the last 10 weeks 3 times a week :idea: Have not tried any sports drinks yet and wonder if any good or jelly babies

I am running both in aid of The Children's Trust - the official charity for the London Marathon 2009. I have worked for the charity for nearly 10 years and we need 1000 runners ! Join The Children's Trust Flora London Marathon 2009 team today! Sorry cannot put the URL up as first post but do google ! So if you have a place or can raise lots of money we need you! You could help children with disabilities from around the UK!

I never thought i would be a runner but it is kind of addictive !
