I have not run since June, when, completing the Portsmouth D Day 10KM, I trashed my right upper hamstring, and deleoped a serious upper hamstring tendonopathy.

With intensive physio, lots of exercise, stacks of patience and a grumpy grump I am almost there! I am now hopping without much pain, which, apparently, according to my physio, is what must be done before running can commence.

So for anyone else out there who has not run for a very long time (6 months) there is hope:d

I shall be running again soon (4 -6 weeks) yippee... feel the love.....:p
