New Balance do very very good shoes. But every runner is slightly different.
How did you buy them? mail order? High street retailer? Specialised running shop?
I use a shop near me where you can take them for a test run. Takes an afternoon to buy a pair of running shoes and you work up a sweat as well. But at least youi end up with shoes that are spot on for you. Worth a few quid extra IMHO.
I know it's been a few months ago that you posted this and I hope you are sorted now.
If not. New Balance are a first class runnung shoe maker, most are made in uk I think.
But if you got them from a sports shop, how do you know that they are the right shoes for you. Get checked out at a running shop. Many different things go into finding the correct shoe for different runners.
