Hi

I’ve taken up running (Gentle plodding) to replace other sports that I cannot currently do due to C-19. (Roller derby & MMA/boxing).
Despite being pretty physically active I’m finding running very hard. The breathing is ok, no stitches and not feeling too tired but After about 5 mins, my calf muscles go rock hard and make it hard to keep moving. I try to keep going and after 10-15 mins I get pins n needles in my feet that spreads up my calves- so much so that I can hardly feel my lower legs and so I need to stop.
This is really difficult and frustrating. Could really do with some advice from anyone who has had similar and what the best steps are to remedy this. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I can't really help with this one, but pins and needles makes me think there is pressure on a nerve somewhere. I'll take a guess and suggest you google compartment syndrome and see if anything makes sense to you.
