Hi, i have just become a member and i am just starting to get use to it. Ihave just done 100m race for my school and i came 2nd with a time of 12.83. I dont have any training and i only do running about three times a year when we do it at school, and my school haven't told me what to do to get better.

Is this a quick time to say i am 14?
And how can i get quicker?: :d

I think you need to find a local club that has a juniors section.

Hi welcome to the forum i'm no expert on running but if you keep it up you'll love it, and if you look into a club then it'll have a good social side to it too.

I would take up Steves advice and look into a local running club that has a junior section. I went to Tavistock Relays last night and before the senior race they had a junior race and it was really watching all the juniors competeing - they really put their heart and souls into their runs.
