Looking to hear from others using night splints.
Long story short,

Strained my calf (low grade 2). also have some Achilles tendonitis on same leg​
Rested and did phsyio.​
On two occasions over 6 weeks I went to sprint when playing with my Son forgetting I was not supposed to be running and both time re-strained my calf after 3 steps.​

Obviously you all know the frustration so I wont go into that.

I have exercises and stretching to do from the physio but also read about how the calves are often contracted at night which can cause problems, since reading this I have really noticed mine are contracted at night. I was thinking a night splint might help. Has anyone had any experience with using splints from this issue, I know they are generally used for PF.
