Hi,

I'm looking to do a half marathon with some friends for a local charity and wondered which Half Marathon to do? Would like to maximize fund raising by collecting as running. Whihc of these Marathons would be best for this?

Welcome to RF.

I did the Nottingham 1/2 last year and thoroughly enjoyed it is a nice course there were a couple of inclines but nothing to write home about, I have not done Bristol but some of the others on here have and will be able to tell you better.

Whichever one you choose good luck.

What were the crowds like, TT? Bridgey is after collecting money on the way round.

oh sorry I can't remember that well it was ok I think, I think it would have been awkward to have crowds all the way around it, sorry to sound so vague.

nottingham i think you'll only find any significant crowds within a mile of the start & finish.
