October is the start of the October Run (Okuto-ba- ran...) in Japan. You register on this October run website as a team or individually and you try and clock as many miles as possible through running, swimmming, cycling, walking (cycling distance is divided by 4 I think). The team I've enetered with want to get in the top 100 in the country...but...there are 11 of us and last year a 4 member team clocked the most miles! haha :lol:

I would like to aim for 6 miles a day with one rest day a week... during october though there is a 60km ultra marathon I may go in for. Cut off time is 9 hours, so could be done?! My marthon time was just under 5 hours...:worried:
