I'm sure I can't be the only one who suffers like this - but it's friday and I'm already going insane having cut back on my mileage in anticipation of Sunday's race.

I've sat at my desk this morning, browsed the forum, done a bit of work (honest!) and amidst all that, all I've been able to think about is how much I want to be outside running!

I know it sounds silly, and that tapering serves an important purpose - but how can I be going so mad with my thoughts?

Tapering is a difficult business for sure...but it'll be worth it when you pick up a pb Sunday!

I fear that if I started, I wouldn't want to stop! I struggled to stop myself from doing a second lap of my route last night because everything seemed to be so bouncy, effortless and delightful :)

Steve... I sincerely hope you're right :)
