Hi All,

I did a 3 mile race last night, which was really fun :) , but I found I went too conservatively for 2 miles, with the last mile ending up much quicker than the first two.

It felt great finishing fast but felt I'd left too much to the end.

What tactics work best for 5k's or 10k's? As I've not really run alot of races, especially shorter distance ones.

The next race in the series is a 2 miler next Monday so I may put any thoughts into practice!
