Last year I ran in the Men's Health Forum 10K at Bellahouston, Glasgow in June, and followed that with a Jogscotland 5K in Glasgow in July. As is common with races you've done before I got emails a few months ago asking if I wanted to sign up this year again. I did so without really paying attention, and only discovered recently that the 5k had been brought forward to June........so what I've just ended up doing is running in the 10k on Sunday, followed by the 5k last night (Tuesday). Not sure I'd recommend as regular practice, but it worked out OK, with PBs in both (44:41 & 21.21) :d
