just remberd from the past while doing an easy recovery run from my harder run i did yesterday(3m/7m)
why is it that a 3mile jog is harder on yourself than the long easy run you did the day before. im not on about after a race when you gave it all or even a long hard run.
i used to need two days to recover from a long steady run, even a gentle jog the next day ment i would have to give the speed work the following night a miss

dunno but I do better, well it feels better if I have two days off after a longer run (10 miles +) trying to stick to a program say for a 10k feels like bloody hard work some times:(
