Hi, I've just started C25K, and think I should buy some better trainers.
Ideally, I'd visit a shop to try some out! As that's not possible, could someone suggest some I could buy from (say) Amazon?
I'm 55, a bit over weight, and have never been a good runner. I've had a hip replacement, and sometimes still get a little pain in my psoas.
I have sunken arches, and also have poor flex in my big toes, which means I tend to roll off the toe... one way or the other. I've previously damaged metatarsals... possibly from too much arch support causing me to roll off the toe towards the outside of the foot.
Any suggestions for good all-round running shoes, with reasonable arch support (but not too much), that would suit a heavier man?
