Guys I think this might be because I'm slightly overweight (15st), but I get mild shooting pains up my leg when my heel strikes the ground when jogging.... possible wearing the wrong trainers.

I normally just run through the pain as its bearable.....but will I do any long term damage if I do this?

any suggestions/comments?

Pains up back of leg

I suggest you go and book an appointment with a good recomended remedial & sports therapist, They will advise you properly on the right stretches to do they will massage any muscle tightness that has ocured, don't carry on running through the pain you wiil eventualy tear muscles & will do more damage
